Sept. 26, 2009 - The Clarktones webpage was refreshed.

Nov. 4, 2008 - Mark Autry went in the studio and worked on music for the long awaited new alblumn.

April 19 2008 - The Clarktones are trying chose the color scheme for their next tour.

Mar. 24, 2005 - A recently discovered review of Metalution by the number one metal review magazine in the world - Tri-TEC Metal Mania Mag. The review is by none other than Tri-TEC President Bill Tackett. Click here to read it.

Feb. 5, 2005 - The work on the new alblum is underway. The tentative title is Dutch Oven. There is no projected release date.  The music is more diverse than in previous releases.

Nov. 28, 2004 - LV and Joe have been hard at work writing for the new CD. The band is scheduled to go into the studio in mid-January 2005. LV thinks this will be the greatest "alblum" of all time. The title of the new CD hasn't been decided. Chris is planning on participating on the CD. Hopefully he won't relapse. Other "special" guest musicians are in the works to contribute. Their names will come available as soon as the contracts are completed.

Sept. 26, 2004 - The video for "The Happiest Day of My Life" is now on the website. Check it out on the Music Page. The video features many Clarktones' friends and family. Check to see if you're in the video. Due to the size of the videos, they might not stay on the site for a long period.

Sept. 23, 2004 - The song "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word," from the unplugged show at Garo's was added on the music page. It is available as a free MP3 download. The song was originally done by Sir Elton John but we added our own vomit to it. It wasn't included on the live CD.

Sept. 8, 2004 - A lost D.O.A. song has been found - "Hope Mills Lake." You can click here to hear it. It may take a minute to download.

Sept. 2, 2004 - The Clarktones are working on a new music video for "Happiest Day of My Life." When it is released we'll let you know here first.

Aug 23, 2004 - Mike Thompson, a former member of Dead on Arrival (AKA D.O.A.), contacted  the Clarktones in hopes of a reunion show. Joe Clark replied, "If the money is right, we'll do anything." Stay tuned for possible reunion shows. To see a picture of  D.O.A. click here.

Aug 16, 2004 - The Clarktones released the music video for "This Ain't Devil Music (It's Only Rock & Roll). It can be viewed on the Music Page.

Aug 15, 2004 - The boys are hard at work on their new album. LV Autry said this about the new music, "It's going to be a lot harder than the Clarktones have ever been. This new sound is so incredible, it makes me scared. I can't even sleep at night. I ain't kidding! I'm scared."

June 29, 2004 - Turn It Up/Throw It Up (America's Premiere Crash Metal Mag.) just put out a special edition dedicated to the Clarktones. Don Kiote's article on the band has been posted on the band's bio page. Go to your local magazine shop and get a copy.

June 25, 2004 - Mark is currently in the studio putting the final touches on our new CD, "Nearly Live & Unplugged at Garo's." As soon as more information is available we will let you know. The show was put together for our closest friends in the Fayettenam area. We performed old Clarktones' classics as well as our favorites from The Screaming Frogs, Fried Dirt and Gunner. We would like to thank Eddie West for his emceeing of the night's entertainment.
